Season: Glen Lyon is an early to mid season variety.
Plant Habit: Canes are dark to mid-tan, spine-free and have moderate vigour with an upright habit and good presentation.
Fruit Quality: Bright, uniform orange to red in colour. Moderate size with a slightly conical shape. Berries are firm with an acidic raspberry flavour, good shelf-life and brightness.
Fruit Size: 4 g / Brix %: 9.1
Yield: Yield: 4.4 T/Ha (Yield data from trials at SCRI)
Pest and Disease Tolerance: Carries gene A1, now susceptible to the most common strain of aphid virus vector Amphorophora idaei (strains 2 and X). Susceptible to Raspberry bushy dwarf virus.
