  • Parentage: Westra x (238/36 x EM21/15) 
  • Flowering: 2 days after Ben Lomond. 
  • Cropping season: Harvest is usually 10 days later than Ben Lomond. 
  • Productivity: Yields are consistently high and fruit is acceptable for commercial production. 
  • Growth Habit: Vigorous and upright-growing bush. 
  • Fruit Quality: Medium sized berry with good sensory qualities. 
  • Disease and Pest Resistance: Has a high level of resistance to blackcurrant gall mite based on the Ce gene. As a consequence, it may be amenable to low-input growing systems. Has good resistance to both mildew and leaf spot.
